Dr. Elaina M. Groo
Dr. Groo graduated from the SUNY College of Optometry in 1993. She is licensed and certified to treat and manage ocular disease and glaucoma, and to diagnose visual conditions associated with diabetes, hypertension, and other systemic conditions.
She completed internships in contact lenses and vision therapy, including infant, toddler, pediatric, and learning-disabilities clinics. She fits specialty lenses, including multifocals for presbyopia and scleral lenses for keratoconus, corneal transplants, and corneal dystrophies.
She also holds an A.A.S. in Ophthalmic Dispensing from New York City Technical College and is a member of the New York State Optometric Association, Hudson Valley Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, and the Optometric Extension Program.
